for mankind, The blindfold she is wearing shows her going inwards
to listen to the silence, and to listen to the silence outward, inbetween the notes
from a violin without strings.

Angel of AcupunctureIn Angel of Acupunctere an Angel is holding the planet Earth,
and in the planet are five acupuncture needles stuck into some places in
need of Healing. It could of course be a lot more needles, but I chose these five.
I want my paintings to give hope and peace, and the feeling that
we Can Heale Our Planet, You only have to do what You Can do to heal the planet.
Imagine if everyone does that.
And for mankind, by giving out possitive energy to the people
around us, possitive energy comes back to us, Do what You can for the
people around you, a smile and a nice word
can make someones day.

Blessed By a Winged Being I like because it has a double meaning.
Who is the Blessed and who is the Blesser, is there any difference I wonder.
The idea of this painting came about one June in den Haag, Holland.
Sitting at a coffe-shop out in the sun enjoying the day,
In the air was a Butterfly flying around, then suddenly the Butterfly
flew down and landed on my third eye.
On the vernissage (opening) of my Exhibition "New Hope"
someone told me that when a butterfly comes to you it is a childs soul
who comes to you with a message.
And it is also considered a Blessing.

Light and dark exists. The light of life comes from the
darkness of the universe.

makes me feel the music of paint.

Going into the Lowerworld is a Shamanic way of obtaining knowlege
about how to Heal. The Middleworld is where we live, and the Shaman
moves between the Lowerworld, the Middleworld and the Upperworld.
There has been Shamans all over the world for over 20.000 years.
The Shamans are considered great Healers.
